Derek Anders is best-known to television viewers in the UK for his regular role as David Blair in the popular long-running Scottish soap Take The High Road. His guest role in Space:1999 was his screen debut and, shortly after, he appeared in The Omega Factor, Shoestring, Buccaneer and the 1978 remake of The Thirty-Nine Steps. He was last seen as Bailie Simpson in Mairi Mhor (1993).
